调节器通常是对输入信号与给定信号之偏差进行PID运算，并把运算结果以统一信号送到执行器，实现自动调节。调节器必须有检测偏差和进行PID运算的两个关键部分。偏差检测电路一般称为输入电路。偏差信号通常采用电压形式，所以输入信号和给定信号在输入电路内都以电压形式进行比较。如果输入信号是电流，必须通过一个精密电阻转换成相应的电压。输入电路同时还必须具备内外给定电路的切换开关，正-反作用切换开关和偏差指示等部分。PID运算电路是调节器产生调节作用的关键部分，它包括放大器和PID反馈电路两部分。

The input circuit must also have switching switches for internal and external given circuits, forward-reverse switching switches and deviation indicators. The PID operation circuit is the key part of the regulator to produce the regulating effect, which includes two parts: the amplifier and the PID feedback circuit.
