调节器通常是对输入信号与给定信号之偏差进行PID运算，并把运算结果以统一信号送到执行器，实现自动调节。调节器必须有检测偏差和进行PID运算的两个关键部分。偏差检测电路一般称为输入电路。偏差信号通常采用电压形式，所以输入信号和给定信号在输入电路内都以电压形式进行比较。如果输入信号是电流，必须通过一个精密电阻转换成相应的电压。输入电路同时还必须具备内外给定电路的切换开关，正-反作用切换开关和偏差指示等部分。PID运算电路是调节器产生调节作用的关键部分，它包括放大器和PID反馈电路两部分。
The regulator usually performs PID operation on the deviation between the input signal and the given signal, and sends the operation result to the actuator as a unified signal to realize automatic adjustment. The regulator must have two key parts to detect the deviation and to perform the PID operation. The deviation detection circuit is generally called an input circuit. The input circuit must also have switching switches for internal and external given circuits, forward-reverse switching switches and deviation indicators. The PID operation circuit is the key part of the regulator to produce the regulating effect, which includes two parts: the amplifier and the PID feedback circuit.
