描述
可编程控制器利用I/O扩展接口使I/O扩展单元与PLC的基本单元实现连接，当基本I/O单元的输入或输出点数不够使用时，可以用I/O扩展单元来扩充开关量I/O点数和增加模拟量的I/O端子。
外设接口电路用于连接手持编程器或其他图形编程器、文本显示器，并能通过外设接口组成PLC的控制网络。PLC通过PC/PPI电缆或使用MPI卡通过RS-485接口与计算机连接，可以实现编程、监控、连网等功能。
