直流电机或者转子是绕线式电机更新电刷,当刷握与换向器表面垂直时,研磨电刷的方法是:在换向器的表面上铺一张砂纸,手握相同型号的新电刷沿换向器轴向往复摩擦,电刷的被磨面很快会被磨出与换向器表面相吻合的弧面来。先用较粗的砂纸,后用细砂纸。研磨时,手握电刷要正,来回运动都要沿换向器的轴线方向,不能偏斜,往复行程不要太长。要注意防止电刷粉进入电枢及换向器沟槽内。磨好后,将电刷装入刷握,起动电机空载运行几分钟后,取出各电刷检查,接触面一般要占总面积的80%以上才行,否则,要重新研磨直到合格为止。
