描述
模块式的PLC是按功能分成若干模块，如CPU模块、输入模块、输出模块、电源模块等等。大型机的模块功能更单一一些，因而模块的种类也相对多些。这也可说是趋势。目前一些中型机，其模块的功能也趋于单一，种类也在增乡。如同样OMRON公司C20系列PLC，H机的CPU单元就含有电源，而Ha机则把电源分出，有单独的电源模块。
