随着计算机的快速发展和控制技术的不断提，使得机炉控制与电气控制日益显得不协调，控制水平也逐渐拉大。为了解决这一矛盾，的办法就是将电气纳入DCS控制之中，这样既利用DCS已成熟的分散控制技术，又能提电气控制水平。
电气控制纳入DCS以后，可充分利气用DCS的手段，使电气防误操作等功能实现更方便、更完备，并且将相关量的显示报警与电设备的控制调节有机地结合起来，提整个电气控制的性和可靠性。
