描述
相当多的大中型控制系统都采用上位计算机加可编程序控制器的方案，通过串行通信接口或网络通信模块，实现上位计算机与可编程序控制器交换数据信息。组态软件引发的上位计算机编程革命，很容易实现两者的通信，降低了系统集成的难度，节约了大量的设计时间，提高了系统的可靠性。国际上比较著名的组态软件有Intouch、Fix等，国内也涌现出了组态王、力控等一批组态软件。有的可编程序控制器厂商也推出了自己的组态软件，如西门子公司的WINCC。
