描述
近来出现一种称为SOFTPLC的软件产品，是将通用型PC机改造成一台由软件（软逻辑）实现的PLC。这种软件将PLC的编程（IECll31）及应用程序运行功能和操作员监控站的图形监控开发、在线监控功能集成到一台坚固式PC机上，形成一个PLC与监控站一体的控制器工作站。
结构类型6使用两级网络结构，这种方案充分考虑了未来扩展需要，比如要增加几条生产线即扩展出几条DP网络，车间监控要增加几个监控站等，都可以方便进行扩展。采用了两级网络结构形式，充分考虑了扩展余地。
