当PLC扫描频率为10次／min以下时，既可以采用继电器输出方式，也可以采用PLC输出驱动中间继电器或者固态继电器（SSR），再驱动负载。对于两个重要输出量，不仅在PLC内部互锁，建议在PLC外部也进行硬件上的互锁，以加强PLC系统运行的安全性、可靠性。
